Choose from the Following: Abortion Care Fees Before Surgery The Procedure Non-Surgical Abortion Map Home		If you are having IV Sedation of General Anesthesia, do not eat or drink anything including water, coffee, gum, or candy after midnight the night before your surgery. No cigarettes either!   You must arrange to have someone drive you home after a general anesthetic. We can call a cab for you as well.   When you come for your visit, your partner, family member, or friend may accompany you through counseling until the time you are called for surgery. If you choose local anesthesia they may be in the room with you. They are welcome to wait or to call the clinic for your approximate discharge time.   There are no daycare facilities, so we ask your cooperation in not bringing children to either your abortion or post-operative appointments.   BVWSC offers local procedures Tuesday - Saturday while generals and IVs are offered on Wednesday and Saturday. Please call the clinic durin goffice hours for more information and/or to make an appointment.
